Launchpad Learning
A structured bridge from early intervention to school readiness
What Is Launchpad Learning?
Launchpad Learning is a center-based program for children ages 2 to 6 who are ready to participate in group learning. The program supports the transition from one-on-one therapy to a classroom-style environment.
SPARKS designed Launchpad to balance structure, play, and individualized support.
Combining Group Learning and Individual Instruction
Launchpad combines small-group learning with individual instruction. Children divide their day between group activities and focused one-on-one sessions.
Group learning promotes peer interaction, shared routines, and independence. Individual instruction targets specific developmental goals. The program maintains a 3:1 staff-to-child ratio to support learning while encouraging social growth.
Licensed Clinicians Lead Therapeutic Group Learning
Launchpad Learning is not a preschool or daycare program. Licensed clinicians oversee all programming within a structured therapeutic environment.
Children enter Launchpad when they show readiness for small-group participation. Readiness may include tolerance for routines, emerging communication skills, or interest in peers. The clinical team works with families to determine appropriate timing.
The Program Builds Skills That Support School Success
Launchpad focuses on skills children need for kindergarten and early elementary settings. These skills include following group routines, communicating needs and ideas, participating in structured activities, managing transitions, and building early academic readiness skills.
